Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs) are gaining attention as a new investment category that bridges mutual funds and PMS. Mohit Gang, CEO and Co-founder of Moneyfront, said the products offer greater portfolio flexibility, long-short strategies and tax efficiency while requiring a minimum investment of ₹10 lakh. He advised investors to consider SIFs only as a limited allocation within a larger portfolio and stressed the need to understand the underlying strategy before investing.
