Munckhof Fruit Tech Innovators is introducing practical precision spraying masterclasses and accompanying e-learning modules. Participants will learn how to work in a more targeted, efficient, and sustainable way using modern orchard technology. Theory and practice are combined in training courses for orchard growers, staff, dealers, and advisors.
During the masterclasses, participants learn how to vary dosage and spray volume per tree or growing zone, including using the VariMAS orchard sprayer. Other Munckhof machines are also covered, such as the root cutter and the Pluk-O-Trak harvesting aid. Three digital e-learning modules support the training as preparation for the practical day and as a reference guide afterwards.
Three Practical E-Learning Modules
The first module, VariMAS Control, covers the operation and practical use of the VariMAS system in the orchard sprayer. Participants learn how to use the display, spray settings, joystick control, automatic control, the integrated weather station, and flushing and cleaning functions. The focus is on working accurately, safely, and efficiently with more targeted application of chemicals and less drift.
The second module will teach you how to work with apps and task cards in VariMAS Application Maps.
The third module, VariMAS in the Field, focuses on day-to-day practice. Topics include preparation, choice of nozzles and settings, determining the right time to spray based on weather data, and post-spray maintenance. Practical examples demonstrate how precision spraying contributes to drift reduction, effectiveness, and resource efficiency.
