The Telangana Department of Intermediate Education signed memorandum of understanding agreements with Radiant Institute of Technology and MSN Laboratories on Wednesday to enhance skill development, faculty upskilling, and career opportunities for thousands of students across Government Junior Colleges in the state.
The partnership with RIT launches a free faculty and student training initiative to bridge the gap between industry requirements and academic learning. The agreement was formally exchanged in the presence of Intermediate Education Director Abhilasha Abhinav, Joint Director Yenkya Nayak, Joint Secretary Mohan, State Institute of Vocational Education Principal Jyothsna Rani, and RIT representatives Vijay Kumar Y and Pradeep.
Under this agreement, RIT will conduct hands-on Faculty Development Programmes for lecturers of Government Junior Vocational Colleges. It will also provide essential industry-aligned On-the-Job Training to students specializing in the Electronics Technician, Electrical Circuit Technician, and Mechanical Engineering streams.
Abhilasha Abhinav noted that providing quality training free of cost is crucial in preparing students for immediate employment.
Simultaneously, MSN Laboratories partnered with the department to recruit eligible Government Junior College passouts from MPC, BiPC, MLT, and Pharma Technology backgrounds encompassing the 2023 to 2026 batches for active roles in the pharmaceutical sector.
This second agreement was exchanged between Yenkya Nayak and MSN Laboratories Vice President of Human Resources KLN Murthy. Murthy stated that the collaboration reflects a strong institutional commitment to supporting the state’s youth by providing valuable employment opportunities, thereby enabling them to contribute meaningfully to India’s rapidly growing pharmaceutical sector while strengthening the overall youth employment ecosystem across Telangana.
